Sarah Leah

Sarah has completed marathons, ultra marathons and Ironman triathlons and is passionate about supporting other people to reach goals they didn’t think were possible! She particularly enjoys swim coaching and has completed Swim Smooth’s 3 day coach education course.

She also enjoys being the favourite Grandma of Max and spending time in the best valley in the world….Glossopdale!

Janet Grint

A keen runner, Janet learnt to swim with Stockport Tri Club in 2013 . Janet  went on to complete her first triathlon in 2014 age 39. She won her first triathlon at Oldham in 2018 age 42.  She is also our resident kayaker at club open water events.

Vikki Murphy

Vikki joined Stockport Tri Club in 2018 and has participated in sprint and middle distance triathlons and has completed Bolton, Wales and Barcelona Ironman. Also completed several marathons and ultra marathons.

Paul Farrington

Completed first triathlon in 2015 after doing the Manchester 10k, Great Manchester Swim & Great Manchester cycle. Joined STC in 2016 initially to improve my swim (I always swam breaststroke and wanted to improve my freestyle). Since joining have gone on to compete in Sprint and Standard Triathlons and Duathlons and 5k, 10k and half marathons as well as completing Manchester Marathon and Bolton Ironman. Have also competed in Time Trials.

I started my Triathlon journey back in 2011 in Plymouth and after moving back up north joined Stockport Tri in 2017. I’ve competed in sprint and standard distance Triathlons as well as running events from 5km up to ultra distance. My favourite discipline is running with swimming a close second.

Cath has been running the Beginners courses for Bramhall Runners for over 6 years and loves to pass on the ‘enjoyment’ of running to new people. She has completed running distances from 5k to Ultra Marathon along with a couple of Sportive and Duathlons.
